Introduce yourself for the blog!!!
Hi Blog! I am Amelia Massey Hiller- I am an entrepreneur and creator born & raised here in Austin, Texas. I love fashion, food, and hosting. My husband and I met in middle school and have been together ever since! We dated all through high school, and did long distance in college (he went to Northwestern in Chicago and I went to Texas A&M). We got married almost 4 years ago here in ATX, and immediately moved across the country for my masters program at The University of Notre Dame- Mendoza College of Business. Although I did not love my experience there, I made alot of friends, challenged myself, and learned what I did not want in my career- to work for other people, especially big corporations. We moved back to ATX after I graduated and we bought our first home (an absolute BEATER of a house), and completely redid it! It was a major labor of love by my husband and we are obsessed.
I have always had a knack of business and marketing - and have always taken socials a little more seriously than everyone else my age growing up because I knew the valuable tool it was going to be one day when I can build something of my own.
Austin and I started Hiller Media Group years ago - and we are living the dream growing this thing. We feel so grateful as a marketing company who hasn’t had to do ANY marketing ourselves- and have solely grown on word of mouth. We are excited to bring new team members on in the future. Our business has quite a few functions, including- talent sourcing for brand campaigns (influencer and UGC), campaign management, talent management, SMM, and pretty much anything else you need a marketing company for!
Outside of work, we spend alot of time with our people, in the kitchen, outside, working out, at church, and traveling! We are super lucky - our families are both here in Austin as well.

Creating Routines & Staying Organized
What’s your secret to staying organized and managing your time between creating content, running a business, and everything else in your life?
So I have ADD + ADHD…I was medicated for a long time and made the very hard big girl decision to get off all meds when I left Notre Dame. I was completely dependent on them and needed to hop off which meant revamping my routine!

Monday through Thursday I go to the same workout, eat really clean at home, and try to see friends at least twice. During the week I know for me to not freak out, I have to be up early, working in the hours when my brain has the most energy, staying hydrated, and keeping my house clean! If I don’t have those nonnegotiables, I would go insane. I grocery shop and do laundry on Mondays before 9AM (after my workout) - and that alone makes me feel like superwoman.
Since I will always have my shit done by 6pm - I can always shift other stuff around if I have an event or a friend wants to hangout!
Main habits- managing sleep schedule, working out at least 4 times a week, cooking/cleaning/laundry consistently! So the work can come as a main priority since all of the figures itself out in my routine.
Take us through a typical morning in your life. Are there any rituals you swear by to start the day?
I go to the same workout class at 7:15AM Monday-Thursday. So roll out of bed at 6:40AM, finish my workout, shower, clean the house (make the bed, regroup things, I ALWAYS do the dishes in the morning.) Then, I make breakfast for Austin and I, then coffee and checking emails/calendar. Then I’m a workin' girl!
Do you have a night routine that sets you up for success for the next day?
My brain literally goes stupid at 7PM- I do not give myself ANY nighttime post dinner responsibilities LMAO. I try to be in bed by 9:30-10 and don’t scroll for long! We go to bed at the same time which I LOVE.
Talkin' Business & Content Creation

Did you ever envision yourself running a social media agency and creating content full-time, or did it all fall into place organically?
Yes- that was always the goal! Agency more so.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from your journey as a content creator that you wish someone would’ve told you when you first started?
OOOf-
some companies legit do not pay their invoices, have no accountability and don’t care about you or their employees. Very weird.
Never go for a $ grab.
Your reputation is everything.
Don’t rush into business with anyone.
Just post the videos! Create content you like to see.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to stand out and build a personal brand that resonates?
Like truly post what you want and don’t ever compare. Stop scrolling. Practice talking to the camera and editing. The rest falls together. Just POST!
Where do you find inspiration when you’re feeling burned out or creatively stuck?
In LIFE- not on a screen. I try not to “look for inspiration.”
How do you and your husband manage to balance work and personal life without letting one take over the other?

We manage different things- Austin oversees all of our logistics, bookkeeping, and things like that & I do talent management and coordination, and growth focused tasks.
We both work on execution- it just depends on the project/client! We definitely wear alot of different hats- but I love that every day is different.
Beauty & Fashion:

Where are your favorite pieces to shop for staple pieces?
I feel like my whole closet is Sezane at this point! Other than that- alot of thrifted or one off pieces, or things I’ve had forever. I love J.Crew, madewell, levis, and nice pajamas! Shop my closet here!
What are some staple beauty products you always have on hand?
DIBS sticks, alot of serums (Clarins is my FAV)/moisturizers, clear lip balms. I am a big blush and eyebrows girl!
What are a few pieces you're excited to wear on repeat this season?
My Sezane trench coats and quilted jackets! Heeled tall boots…black tights- holiday vibes!
